Shoring
plans and shoring plan changes generally have a fast turnaround.
Please
furnish a list of existing available materials to be used in the shoring
design and the duration that the shoring will remain in use.
Take special note of existing facilities such as utilities and
underdrains in the proximity of the proposed shoring. Other factors that impact the shoring plan include surcharge
loads such as heavy equipment performing the work, spoils, traffic, and
adjacent structures.

In
cases that a glory hole or sloping and benching are to be part of the
shoring plan, or are part of the existing site, then that would need to be
addressed in the shoring plan as well.
